Brooklyn Craft Company is your go-to place for crafty learning - they spent three years as a workshop space, teaching thousands of students to sew, weave, dye, make art, knit, and so much more. They threw some amazing craft parties, too, like our Cat Lady Craft Night event.
Then they realized their students customers were hungry to buy the supplies they needed to continue all the skills they were learning in their classes. California transplant Cleo (they/she; formerly of Cast Away Yarn Shop) opened their jewel-of-a-store in a renovated garage in East Williamsburg, where they keep the roll door open in nice weather. It's filled with beautiful all-natural yarns including Loop's Yin Yang yarn, exclusive to their shop in Brooklyn (super cool matching sets of two-tone marls) and tons of other lovely things: looms, pom pom makers, punch needling supplies, diverse selection of yarns, needles, and notions.
Cleo's has a special focus on community, they host weekly Happy Hour Craft Circles along with a wide variety of classes and events.
